What
Hunch is a Slack bot for thoughtful forecasting. Anyone asks a question — a launch date, a hire, a target. Teammates commit play-money hunches to YES or NO.
The aggregate stays hidden until the question resolves. Each person commits their own belief, in private. The truth shows up at resolution — along with who was right.
Why
The standard prediction market shows everyone the live consensus. That's a feature in finance and a bug at work. People anchor to the leader's view, conform to the loudest voice, and the signal you wanted gets eaten by the meta-game of guessing what everyone else thinks.
Hunch hides the aggregate. Bets are anonymous — not your manager, not the question's creator sees who bet what. What you get back is what your team actually believes.
How

- 4 Resolve. When the question is decided, the creator resolves it. Winners take from losers. The aggregate is revealed.
